Our Breeding Dogs
We have two females and one male. All three are purebred Great Pyrenees, but are not registered. Our females are active guardians on our 950 acre central Idaho mountain ranch and cover a territory of approximately 1 mile radius.
Sophie
Stands 28″ tall at shoulder and weighs approximately 90 lbs. She is the more confident, active, and aggressive of our two females, although she is completely gentle with people. She guards goats, chickens, calves, and children.
Jackie
Stands 28″ tall, weighs approximately 95lbs. Jackie is the more sociable and has a smaller territory. She is also completely gentle with people. She guards goats, chickens, calves, and children.

Jackie is a bit more of homebody. She loves to be elevated where she can look around. Here she is on the trampoline. This picture was taken when she was about a year old.
Bear
Stands 31″ tall at shoulder and weighs approximately 115 lbs. He was a registered purebred, but the original owner moved and we were unable to get papers. He is a massive and beautiful dog, and incredibly gentle.
Bear is usually confined to our large yard because he roams over several miles if free. He is not trained as a livestock guard dog, although his large size certainly would have made him suitable. We have never seen him exhibit any aggression toward humans or other animals.
